We successfully organized a bake sale at school featuring a variety of snacks, sweets, drinks, and our special Dubai-style chocolate crepe. This initiative helped us raise funds for the development of our project while also increasing engagement with the school community and promoting Caravel Racing.
Yesterday, we carried out a beach cleanup at Zebreiros river beach. We spent some time collecting litter scattered along the sand and near the waterline, mainly plastics, packaging, and small waste items that tend to accumulate and get carried by the wind and water. Although it is a simple action, its impact is real and immediately visible in the space. More than just cleaning, this activity is part of our commitment to sustainability within the project. STEM Racing is not only about engineering and speed — it is also about responsibility, environmental impact, and awareness of the world around us. The activity took place on a weekend when the 25th of April was commemorated, Portugal's Freedom Day 🇵🇹, a date that also reminds us of the importance of acting responsibly and contributing actively to our community.
On April 14th, the Caravel Racing team from Colégio Paulo VI participated with enormous pride in the STEM Racing competition and the results speak for themselves! 🥇 The team conquered: • 1st place on the podium • Fastest Car • Engineering Award (CATIM) This competition challenges participants to develop a miniature F1 car, combined with creating a business model, promoting a true integration of skills across various areas. "This project requires a fusion of diverse skills such as engineering, management, and marketing, making it an enriching experience. After 5 months of hard work, at the Porto regional final, with much dedication, we achieved our goal: to win!" — The Caravel Racing Team. After this brilliant achievement, the team qualified for the national phase and is more motivated than ever for the next challenges!
